Crosswinds’ shelter offers a welcoming, homelike setting for children and teens in need of emergency residential care.
Community Counseling
Counselors in this community-based program work with young people and their families to find solutions to issues.
Juvenile Assessment Center Services
The JAC’s principal goal is to ensure that all referred Brevard County youth in need of services, including those who are arrested and those at risk of delinquency, receive a comprehensive assessment and services.
Independent Living Services
Youth who are aging out of foster care are assisted in making a successful transition to independent adulthood.
Transitional Living Program (TLP)
The TLP is a comprehensive program offering housing and supportive services to homeless young people ages 16-21.
Civil Citation
Civil Citation is an innovative alternative to arrest for youth with certain misdemeanor offenses that holds them accountable for their actions, while offering counseling and other timely services youth and their families need.
Street Outreach Program
Street Outreach targets the needs of runaway, homeless and at-risk youth by providing services on the streets of Brevard County.
Project Safe Place
To get immediate help, young people can enter one of over 100 community centers and businesses that are designated Safe Place sites.
