The IDDS program is a community and home-based intervention and supervision program for first-time youth offenders under the age of 16, who are identified as most at risk of committing future offenses. The program’s goal is to work with youth and families to prevent further incidence of criminal behavior.
Young people are referred to the program by the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice and the State Attorney’s Office. All program participants are responsible for making restitution and performing community service.
Services Include:
- Non-clinical evaluation
- Case management
- Supervision and surveillance contact for each youth in program
- Assistance with court sanctions and community service compliance
- Family Therapy available to families as needed
